
Dr. Cain’s Bio
Originally from Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Jabari Cain has a strong background in the area of elementary education, instructional technology, and school web/print design. His years of experience as an elementary teacher in Lansing, Michigan gave him a deep understanding of the daily challenges teachers face in the classroom. Eventually, he chose to re-enter higher education to complete graduate work in the area of Instructional Technology. After completing his M.Ed. at the University of Northern Iowa with a thesis paper on the fundamental of school web design, he pursued a Ph.D. in the field of Instructional Technology from the University of Nebraska. Upon graduation from the University of Nebraska, Dr. Cain moved to carry out his teaching agenda in the area of Instructional Technology.
Dr. Cain is currently an associate professor at Mercer University teaching educational technology and professional development courses. He has over ten years of teaching experience including two years as a first grade teacher and ten years in higher education.
